You are born to work.
But all work is not the work that God intended for YOU to do.
God built you intricately, specifically, and with a particular task in mind.
You were created to be a solution to a problem.
Everything about you is intentional and is tied to executing the mission of your existence.
You have everything you need, from birth, to do what you have been created to do.
The task of life is to get you back to you while in this earth suit called “your body.”
Once you are leaned down to your true self, you will flow in the knowing of who you are and be able to execute your life mission.
This is where you have the most intimacy with God.
He becomes your partner.
He’s your Father, your friend, and your commanding officer.
Your life becomes exciting, fulfilling, mission driven, and focused.
You enter a zone of “only doing what I see my father do.” John 5:19
This was why Jesus told the disciples to seek first the Kingdom and God’s righteousness.
In seeking Gods kingdom, and finding his will for your life, everything you need appears. Not as an optimistic perspective, but rather as a reality to complete the work that God has destined you to do.
You postured not only as his child but as his soldier, on his mission, stewarding his vision, he will provide for you to execute the mission.
In Mastery by Robert Greene he describes finding your life task:
“At your birth a seed is planted. That seed is your uniqueness. It wants to grow, transform itself, and flower to its full potential. It has a natural, assertive energy to it. Your Life's Task is to bring that seed to flower, to express your uniqueness through your work. You have a destiny to fulfill.”
At some point you will need to decide if you are going to believe your life has purpose and begin executing or succumb to the belief that there is no meaning for your existence.
I choose to believe you are here on purpose for a purpose.
I choose to believe the Word.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.
Jeremiah 1:5
I don’t think your birth was any different than the examples we see in scripture.
I believe God has given us these biographies to encourage, teach, and lead us.
Samson
A certain man of Zorah, named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, had a wife who was childless, unable to give birth. The angel of the Lord appeared to her and said, “You are barren and childless, but you are going to become pregnant and give birth to a son. Now see to it that you drink no wine or other fermented drink and that you do not eat anything unclean. You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines.”
Judges 13:2-5
John the Baptist (Luke 1:11-17)
There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
John 1:6-8
You are built for a specific vocation.
A work.
The word vocation comes from the Latin word “vocatio” which means a calling or summons.
You doing your true work brings God glory.
Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep.
Acts 13:36
You were born to dominate something.
Deborah was born to be a prophetess. Her connection to God allowed her to execute.
Lydia was a successful businesswoman. (Acts 16) God used her gifting in business and wealth to support the mission of building the early church.
Paul was passionate and fearless. God used his passion to share the gospel with others, he became one of the most effective voices for building the Kingdom.
It’s not about the money.
The resources will be attracted to you when you get into alignment with what you are born to do.
The blessing of the Lord brings wealth without painful toil.
Proverbs 10:22
Your gift will make room for you and will bring you before great men.
Proverbs 18:16
All the kings of the earth sought audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom God had placed on his heart.
2 Chronicles 9:23
“There will come a time, if you are using your external looks, or if your using your position in your business, if your using all of that, at some point will come to an end.”
Gary Zukav speaking about getting to your Authentic Power
Frustration is evidence that your soul is misaligned.
Don’t be mad at the frustration, let it speak.
Your soul is your inner compass that knows where you are meant to be and what you are meant to do.
Ignoring your innermost being brings anxiety, anger, disease, depression, ill health.
I speak from experience.
You must listen to your soul.
The journey to you is not linear.
It comes with resistance, adversity, pain.
But for the joy that is set before you you will endure.
You will have the hunger to do what you are called to do.
The knowing deep inside of you will give you the endurance.
The Holy Spirit will continuously strengthen you to be able to pursue what God has created you to do.
Allow the refinement.
Observe yourself.
“Don’t follow your dreams, follow your effort.”
Marc Cuban
Where do you spend the most time?
Go where your EFFORT naturally takes you.
What did you do most naturally as a child, before you were polluted by the limited thinking of the world?
What makes you HUNGRY?
What makes you ANGRY?
If you COULD, do something about it, what WOULD you do?
Is it that things that makes you angry or your inability to do something about it?
Is it that you lack the knowledge, or do you lack the resources?
Ask yourself these deep questions.
What is truly holding you back?
Whose box are you trying to fit into?
Whose approval are you truly seeking?
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.
Proverbs 29:25
For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
Galatians 1:10
What do you WANT?
The Artisans Called by God
He has filled them with skill to do all manner of work of the engraver and the designer and the tapestry maker, in blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine linen, and of the weaver—those who do every work and those who design artistic works.
Exodus 35:35
When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.
Patanjali
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.”
John 4:34
God, your Heavenly Father wants your soul saved.
That is the first priority. Then he wants you to fulfill the purpose for your existence.
He wants your life to bring him glory by fulfilling the work for which he created you.
This is soul level.
You taught me things about my soul. Ain't nobody ever done that for me. Ain't nobody ever cared."
Sarah’s Oil
My intention is to encourage you, to be the real you.
The only version of you you are authorized to be.
